OT Assistant
Operation Theatre Assistants (O.T. Assistant) is one year / two year Certificate Course. Its job oriented paramedical course for 9th pass, 10th pass and 10th fail girls/boys and women. After completion, of course, government approved certificate will be provided. After completing the course, it will eligible for a job in large trust hospitals that running on the private sector.
In this course Assist in Preparing Operating Rooms for Surgery. Provide technical assistants to Surgeons, Surgical nurses and anesthetists. Clean and restock the operating room, arranging instruments, supplies and equipment according to instruction.
During the surgical process, the assistants passes the surgical. Instruments to the surgeon, Applies Dressing cuts sutures and prepares specimens for lab analysis. Upon completion of the surgery, the assistant is responsible for taking the patient to the recovery room and cleaning the OT for the next surgery.
